In November 2025, USA Hockey (the governing body of youth and olympic hockey in the USA) quietly released an updated player eligibility policy that makes life difficult for transgender players, and inclusive women's leagues across the country are now scrambling to figure out how to continue operating in the way they feel so strongly about while also showing USA Hockey that this is unacceptable.
